Welcome to Honeypot Medical Centre
Honeypot Medical Centre is a long established GP Practice, and has been providing General Practice healthcare to the local community for over six decades.
We aim to deliver equitable, personalised, high quality and caring primary health care services to our patients. We are forward looking, embracing new ways of working and technological developments without losing sight of traditional primary care values.
In April 2015 we merged with neighbouring Charlton Medical Centre, which was at risk of closure. We are hoping for building development and expansion on the Honeypot site in 2018, with the Charlton site closing, so that all services are on one site.

GP APPOINTMENTS ARE 10 MINUTES LENGTH - IF YOU NEED LONGER BOOK A DOUBLE APPOINTMENT!
GP appointments are booked at 10 minute intervals. We usually run late due to some appointments taking longer; just three appointments taking 20 minutes instead of 10 minutes will result in running 30 minutes late. If you feel your appointment will take longer, such as having a number or problems to discuss, please book a double appointment
Belmont Health Centre GP Access Clinic Open 8 a.m - 8 p.m seven days a week

What is Patient Access?
Patient Access is a service provided by EMIS (our clinical system) that allows you to access your practice online. Patient Access includes a number of optional features, including:
- Booking online Appointments
- Requesting repeat prescriptions
- Seeing your health records
How do I register for Patient Access?
There are two ways of registering to use Patient Access, both accessible here https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk (click the "Register" button)
Register with a letter
You can register by firstly visiting your practice in person and requesting a registration letter which will enable you to set up a full account. This needs to be requested when you visit the practice and will require identification. Once you have the letter you can then enter the details from the letter into the registration form. View full instructions here.
Register without a letter
You can also register for the service online without a letter. This process will check to see if your practice uses Patient Access and create a basic account that allows you to book an appointment. View full instructions here. If you use this option, to get access to the complete features that your practice offers you will need to visit them in person and take ID with you.

Named GP for all Patients
Since 31st March 2016, every GP practice has been required by the Government under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all Patients a named accountable GP.
Honeypot Medical Centre has allocated every patient a GP who will be responsible for their overall care. This is purely an administrative exercise. If you do wish to know or change your named GP, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
Please note: there is no need to telephone the practice for this information. Simply ask Reception on your next visit
- This does not prevent you from seeing any GP or Nurse Practitioner in the Practice as you currently do.
- Your named GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss them with an alternative doctor.
- You will still receive the same level of care.
- You do not need to do any anything else, nothing will change for you.
Get Well, Keep Well
Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
